Good site but be careful.

We stayed for a few night's and when we arrived we thought fantastic, the new log cabin was the office and the owner's were brilliant, really really friendly! We were escorted to our pitch which felt like it was on a overflow field, although flat and level i was happy. The electric's did not look the safest and were extensions hanging on a wire fence. They were used but i did not trust them! I noticed a lot of what looked like permanently sited tourer's and i was skeptical of there nature, they didnt look like your average caravanner, some didnt even have hitch's. However i am not there to judge. The site itself was pleasent, i did not use the shower facilitys however the toilet block was adequate and functional, i cannot comment on warmth levels as it was quite warm when we were there. Skegness is a short drive away and there is a bar on site anyway. All in a all a basic site that's good for a base for enjoying Skegness however i personally was worried about the safety onsite when we werent there, most camper's seemed ok though. 10/10 for the owner's though! Never met a friendlier pair!
